Interfaith Outreach Group
The purpose of the Interfaith Outreach Group is to reduce hatred and intolerance
between Christians, Jews, and Muslims and help produce good will and
a more unified community that respects religious diversity.
Last October we organized an outreach effort by which Christian and Jewish
children from Pine Crest School and Temple Beth Emet sent cards to Muslim
children at a South Florida Islamic school wishing them peace, love,
and a happy Ramadan. The Muslims returned the gesture by sending handwritten
thank you letters and cards wishing the Christian and Jewish children
a Happy Hanukah and Christmas.
